Finally got the car in primer ready for a coat of silver metallic paint with metal flake candy red
Next the mirrors which are M3 BMW style originally made for the VW golf but modified with a hack saw fitted nicely
Well she was looking good with a coat of paint
But a small fire in the car due to some welding caused blistering of the roof so a new paint job was in order.
The paint was ok for a year so I trailered the car to a few shows, just to get it out there and see what people thought of it
It seemed to go down well picking up 2 trophies at 2 shows I entered and at the time it wasn't even running
